Welcome to Household 6 Diva
Thanks for stopping by! My name is Ann Marie.
Long ago when my husband and I were newlyweds, he started calling me "Household 6",
which is military humor for "Commander of the Household", and it has been an ongoing joke ever since!

This is the story of my ongoing efforts to Balance my Life between
being an Army Wife,
a Mother to three small children,
and remind myself it is ok to be a little bit of a Diva sometimes!

a Mother to three small children,
and remind myself it is ok to be a little bit of a Diva sometimes!
My hubby, Seth, is a Soldier in the United States Army.
And yes, the night we met, it was the handsome man in uniform that caught my eye!
We have been married for 5 years and we have three beautiful children.
And no we didn't plan the perfect 22 month spacing - the Army did! :)

Things you'll find here include...
Blogging resources: Tutorials and interesting articles I've collected since I started blogging!
(Because I wish I had this link list when I first started out!)
Cooking adventures: A list of family recipes with entertaining instructions!
(Soft pretzels = stick to your love handles scrumptious!)

Military Life: Adventures and Experiences in this unique Subculture.
(Oh yeah - Did I mention we live in Germany?)

Photography endeavors: I'm still learning how to use my DSLR Nikon - want to learn with me?
(As you can see by now - I LOVE taking pictures!)

I also host a Mamarazzi Monday Meme as an excuse a lovely way for us
Camera Clicky Mamas to share what we've been taking pictures of.
(Yes - My son actually did this to his baby sister!)
Part of learning to take better pictures is to get moving and start experimenting!
And besides - what better things to take pictures of than our family!
This includes Husbands, Pets, Grandparents, Construction workers...
(Because no one is safe from the Mamarazzi!!)

In the past year I have been so blessed by the support and encouragement I have received from the International Blogging Community. I want to share this experience with other military families.

In the past year I have been so blessed by the support and encouragement I have received from the International Blogging Community. I want to share this experience with other military families.
My contribution will be a simple, easy to navigate link-list of Military Spouse Bloggers who are interested in connecting with others by sharing ideas and relating through common experiences.
It is about sharing the stories from this unique Military Spouse Lifestyle.
It is about connecting with families - both Military and Civilian.
It is about supporting these families who have a family member defending our freedom.
“With just one percent of our population—our troops—doing 100 percent of the fighting
our military families are being tested like never before...” - Michelle Obama (read the full article here).
If you are looking for a way to personally make a difference for our military families -
I encourage you to stop by this list and connect with these families!
(Feel free to post a button on your blog to show your support and share the idea with your readers!)
