painted trees

Confession : I don't like messy crafts...  especially things involving paint...

But when I saw this craft in my Family Fun Magazine - I decided to try it...

And even though the whole paint + two boys

usually = what was I thinking this is a HUGE MESS!!!

This craft really seemed to work well...

Maybe it was because I laid it all out during nap time...

(because I'm always prepared like that... no REALLY... *ahem*)

And after much smashing and smearing...

We had some lovely fall trees decorating the hallway...

(Pardon me while I go breath in a paper bag now...)
