Overcoming my fear of the Blog Frog

Change is hard for me.

Especially when it is computer related.

If you've ever read my "What does RSS Subscribe mean?" you might remember how I drug my feet - kicking and screaming - to switch my email account from yahoo to gmail?  You might also remember that once I did... I wished I had done it sooner!

And the same was the case for me with creating a Blog Frog Community!

I kept telling myself I didn't want another user-name and password for yet another community.
There are so many different websites with message boards and discussion threads...

Honestly? I rarely participate in them... because it is yet another system to learn and become familiar with... and I already have limited computer time with three small children at home...

But what is so wonderful about this system is once you are signed in?
You can interact with all the other communities as well! 

I have been a member for 7 days - and I'd like to share a few things I've learned already!

--- Did you know that when you are a member of a community your blog posts show up in the community blogroll?  So really, if you are trying to grow your blog - wouldn't you want the most exposure?

--- After you comment on a discussion - be sure to subscribe!  How else can you be part of the conversation?  By listening to and reading others comments, you can expand your perspective and perhaps learn something new!  This also gives you a direct link BACK to the conversation so you can respond instantly with your thoughts.

--- Anyone can start a conversation in any community!  Here are a few conversations I highly encourage you to go read!  Each of them was started by a reader in these Blog Frog Communities!
